Malachi Hemphill

Malachi Hemphill, 13 years old of Forest Park, Georgia, shows off a gun to his friends on Instagram April 10,  2017. One of his friends  asked Malachi to put an ammunition clip in the gun. "As he put the clip in the gun, that is when the gun went off,"

The boy's mother, Shaniqua Stephens, and her daughter broke down the teen's door after hearing a loud "boom", and found the boy on the floor in a pool of blood. His mobile phone was still on and streaming live video through social media site Instagram, his family said.

Dozens of his friends came rushing to his house after realizing what had happened. "There was about 40 to 50 kids outside," said Stephens. "I guess these were the kids that were watching on live that live in the area. I guess when it happened they just ran over here."

The boy was taken to nearby Grady Hospital where he died of his injuries.

Forest Park police are now investigating how Malachi came to be in possession of the handgun, with Stephens believing it may have been given to her son by a friend.

IT DID HAPPEN HERE.

The hearts and minds of my friends and family have been fooled by a global initiative to make money. Politics is irrelevant. Creators of Fake News show you something that will cause you to react. They have no care for what you REALLY believe. Most are europeans. How do they make money? Every time someone views their web page they get paid. Adsense payout- part of the agreement stipulates you do not tell. Total annual payout is a trade secret. Estimates range from 1.5 to 2 BILLION USD. Possibly double that due to the 2016 elections.

Why use a meme? It hides the text of the message.  So do videos. On Facebook I'm starting to see videos that don't move - just words that escape the robot censorship.

I'm hoping our motto for the 2016 elections will be "We don't get fooled again."

the Parables of Jesus

I set out to study the parables of Jesus and began to search for a easy reference link. I came upon http://www.christianbiblereference.org/jparable.htm

Self-Righteousness and Humility
The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector
[Jesus] also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt:

“Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.’

“But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’

“I tell you, this man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
(NAS, Luke 18:9-14)

Like the tax collector, we must recognize that we are all imperfect sinners by God's standards (Romans 3:23), and we must depend on God's mercy for our justification. Anyone who is self-righteous and looks at other "sinners" with contempt is actually committing a serious sin!"

On the website each reference above is linked to a popup text of the verse.

Jesus was the master of teaching in parables. His parables often have an unexpected twist or surprise ending that catches our attention and drives home the parable's lesson. The parables give us a feeling and insight into heavenly and spiritual concepts that cannot be expressed in mere words. They also give us a much richer understanding of the kingdom of God and its values, which are often the opposite of worldly values. Without understanding the parables, it is impossible to fully understand Jesus and His teachings.

DIY Fake News

There are an amazing number of websites where fake headlines or fake news stories can be created.
