Download the ISO file:

Run the Windows USB installer:
https://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/
Only 2GB USB drive or SD card needed.
Choose the ISO file, your Flash Drive and, Click Install.
Your USB device now becomes a boot drive for almost any computer or laptop. Ubuntu 18.04 will boot up and run your hardware with an option to install or simply test drive. If you don't like it don't install it. Bionic Beaver will check your hardware and load compatible generic drives for all your gear. Only NVIDIA might need extra drivers.
